MasterWeld MW-4043 aluminium welding wire is alloyed with 5% silicon added for excellent flow characteristics and fluid weld pool, attractive bright cosmetic appearance and a lower melting point. It is particularly used to prevent solidification cracks in connection with high dilution and clamp conditions.

Designed for welding of 6XXX grade aluminium alloys.

4043 welding wire should not be used if you are considering the best colour match after post weld anodizing, as this filler alloy will typically turn dark grey in colour after the anodizing process.
